Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designers and fabricators of high-end post & beam, timber frame residential and light commercial building components and structures seeks candidates for Assistant Manufacturing Manager at its facilities in Clemmons, NC.
| Responsibilities: | This position contemplates primary responsibility for a relatively small job-shop type workforce divided into five departments, including shipping & receiving and maintenance. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum of five (5) years in manufacturing/production management in woodworking, furniture, production housing or building component fabrication, ie, cabinet shop, wood furniture, etc., with background and experience in hands-on production management, operations, etc. Candidates must be computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.), able to read shop drawings and have familiarity with lumber, plywood and other common building materials as well as woodworking equipment. This is a manufacturing position, not a construction supervision or homebuilding position. |
| Education: | Degree or equivalent experience in the same field. |
| Compensation: | From $60k/year to start – depending on experience and qualifications. |
